Art In Public Places is a community outreach program sponsored by North Tahoe Arts. We arrange for exhibits of artwork by local member artists in various public locations in Truckee, Kings Beach, Tahoe City, and Incline Village. Some of the venues are restaurants, some are banks, and others are libraries, physical therapy offices, or recreation facilities.
The venues enjoy having a display of original art for several months at a time, while the artists have the opportunity to display their work in the community. Each artist hangs his or her own exhibit, usually for three months. Following is a schedule of assignments. Be on the lookout for the creative works of North Tahoe Arts members!
