A Gathering of Art has a twofold purpose .

One is to bring Artists and novice artists together to share and dialog about their work, art, or materials. Artists are often alone creating their artwork, so this new program is an opportunity to actually work on individual projects yet be with others at the same time. On the first and third Wednesdays of every month, the Corison Loft at North Tahoe Arts will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to come together. Bring equipment (easels, etc) and supplies (tables and chairs provided). This is a time to interact with each other yet still do your own thing. There will be NO instructor but what can be learned from each other will be invaluable. There is a plan to eventually have life drawing from time to time for those who are interested (we will be the models).

The second purpose for a Gathering of Art is to open the doors for the public to join in the conversations, meet artists, observe, and ask questions. They too can bring their own supplies and easels. There is no charge for these gatherings. No need to let us know you're coming, just drop in. It will be a great time!
