Arts For the Schools and North Tahoe Arts are pleased to present Expressive Art Workshop Series for Placer County residents.  This workshop series is part of the Innovations Grant which is funded by Placer County and administered by Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation.  Free and open to all Placer County residents age 13 and above.

Next Workshop:

March workshop focusing on expressive verse with local poet Claire Foster.

Date: Thursday March 15th, 5-8 p.m. or Friday March 16th, 10-1 p.m.

Location: Rideout Community Center, 740 Timberland Lane, Tahoe City, CA (1 mile past Sunnyside on the west shore)

About the instructors:

Eva Stramer Nichols is a multi-media artist and has been teaching adult art workshops privately for three years. She recently completed her Artist in Residence at Mendocino Art Center where she taught art classes for seniors, adults, and children. She taught at Vocational Colleges while living in Denmark and holds degrees in International Studies and Cross-Cultural Business Studies. She’s conducted workshops in California, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Australia among other locations.
